The ITN Invisibles complies with an equal opportunity and gender balance policy.

These positions are ESR (Early Stage Researcher) EU positions. The research topics extend to theoretical and experimental neutrino, dark matter and/or dark energy physics. All full partners and associated partners will contribute to the training of the ESRs, and the research effort will focus on collaborations through the network.

All positions include at least a few-month stay in another network node, plus stays in our associated partners: at least at one major world laboratory and one of our private sector partners. Yearly meetings of the complete network are foreseen.

The gross salary for all positions is 38000 euros/year plus, in addition, a mobility allowance of 700 euros/month.

Eligible candidates for any of the positions advertised may be of any nationality. The candidates:

  • Must be, at the time of recruitment by the host organisation, in the first four years (full-time equivalent) of their research careers and have not yet been awarded a doctoral degree. This is measured from the date when they obtained the degree which would formally entitle them to embark on a doctorate, either in the country in which the degree was obtained or in the country in which the research training is provided, irrespective of whether or not a doctorate is envisaged.

  • At the time of recruitment by the host organisation, must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) in the country of their host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date. Short stays such as holidays and/or compulsory national service are not taken into account.

  • For Junior ESR (PhD) positions, at the starting time of the positions the candidates must have completed the courses that would have allowed them to enroll in a doctorate program either in the country where they are studying or in the country offering the position.

In order to apply for a position in the "Invisibles Training Network" you must:

  • Register if you have not done alredy
  • Upload your CV that should include:
    • Personal data
    • Academic qualification
    • A request for, at least, two reference letters

Although it is not compulsory to have finished uploading all of your CV information we recommend you to do so.
